In the previous posts of this series, Bahasa Indonesia in 2 minutes, we have shown you sentences and words that you can apply in your everyday conversations such as during contexts of shopping, meeting someone, and introducing yourself to others.
In this post, we will show you some example sentences that are often said in conversations when ordering something at a restaurant. Let’s take a look at the sentences:
“Saya mau pesan satu porsi nasi goreng dan satu es teh manis.”
“I would like to order one portion of nasi goreng and one iced tea.”
“Apakah Bapak/Ibu mau makan di sini atau dibungkus?”
“Would you like to eat here or takeaway?”
“Saya mau bayar sekarang, boleh minta bonnya?”
“I would like to pay now, may I have the bill?”
